1) GPCR monoclonal antibody development
Multispan uses a unique strategy to develop and deliver high-quality
monoclonal antibodies against native GPCR epitopes.
Platform highlights: • High quality antigen: >100,000 GPCR molecules expressed on per mammalian
cell as native immunogen • Against natural GPCR epitopes • High specificity
2) GPCR assay development
• Functional cell-based assays:
Multispan has demonstrated proven track record in developing functional cell
based assays for high-throughput screening using stably GPCR-transfected mammalian
cell lines with optimal EC50 readouts for Ca++, cAMP or NFAT and CRE driven
reporters.
• Membrane binding assays:
Multispan provides high quality membrane preparations with demonstrated ligand binding function and optimal EC50.
3) GPCR Deorphanization
GPCRs constitute the best pharmaceutical target family. Among them some 100 exist for which their natural ligand is unknown. These "orphan" GPCRs have the potential to serve as targets for novel drugs and novel indications. Yet to be used in pharmaceutical research, these GPCRs need first to be deorphanized, i.e. their natural ligand need to be discovered to allow for development of high-throughput screening assays. With Proven expertise and 10+ years of experience, Multispan provides deorphanization of orphan GPCRs as a service. Part of it will include establishment of high-throughput assays.
Multispan welcomes new contract research partnerships in the above
areas. Please contact us at info@multispaninc.com or 510.887.0817, ext

4) GPCR Compound Profiling
Our compound profiling services reduce time and costs of drug development.
If you have a panel of lead candidates and need to concentrate on optimizing
just some of them, Multispan can help you to make the right decision.
We offer compound profiling services based on our fast growing collection
of stable cell lines expressing different classes of GPCR. This collection
serves as a source of representative targets that can be used to survey
drug candidate specificity in functional assays like Ca++ influx.
We could also evaluate your drug candidate in membrane assays. Our high
expression technology provides you with membranes that give the best
Signal-to-Noise ratio for reliable results. This two-prong approach
allows our clients to obtain valuable functional, biochemical, and physico-chemical
information about drug candidates.
All intellectual property resulted from screening is retained by the
client. |
